Booking
Location NOT recommended for Guests who want to Party !!!
- A non refundable deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost must be received along with £100 security bond (in case of breakages, damage or extra cleaning required to the Log Cabin or Hot Tub) with the booking form to secure your holiday. The security bond will be banked
- The security bond will be returned to you after we have checked the log cabin on you departure
- A provisional telephone booking will be held for five days, if your deposit, security bond, and booking form is not received in that time the date will be re-advertised.
- A booking form which you can download can be found at the bottom of the tariff page.
- Balance must be paid two weeks before the start of your holiday (no reminder will be sent)
- Alternatively you can pay your 25% deposit and £100 security bond online. Balance to be paid by cheque / card 2 weeks before your holiday (no reminder will be sent)
Cancellation
- A cancellation must be advised in writing.
- The balance of the rental must be paid two weeks before the holiday, Failure to pay the balance two weeks before the holiday may result in the booking being cancelled.
- If your booking is cancelled, the deposit will not be refunded. (security bond will be refunded )
- If you have paid the balance of the rental and you cancel your booking we will try to re- let that period.
- If we can successfully Re-Let we will refund the balance of the rental and security bond (but not the deposit). But the balance will only be refunded if a new booking has been made.
- You can take out holiday insurance to cover any loss you may incur.
General Conditions
- Occupancy of the log cabin commences at 4:00pm on the first day of the letting period and is to be vacated by 10:00am on the morning of your departure.
- No over occupancy max 6 people Lochanview Lodge. Max 6 Lochanview Log Cabin
- Minimum stay two nights.
- Dogs must be house trained, and not left alone in the log cabin or garden and should be kept out of bedrooms, and be kept off the soft furnishings / beds - they must bring their own beds. For the convenience of other visitors and children, owners must pick up and dispose of any dirt made by their dog.
- log cabins must be left secure when unoccupied during the period of let.
- The owners reserve the right of access to the log cabin at any reasonable time to carry out repairs or any general maintenance required.
- Guests are responsible for any breakages, loss or damage which occurs during their stay and any replacement cost of any such loss or damage.
- Defective equipment must be reported on arrival.
- log cabin Scotland must be left as you found it, in a clean and tidy condition.(Any extra cleaning from Cabins or Hot Tubs being left uncleaned or dirty will result in the extra cleaning costs being taken from the £100 security bond).
- We operate a strictly No Smoking policy in the lodge or on the decking surrounding the lodge.
- Candles T / Lights are NOT permitted in the Log Cabins.
- In the interest of Health and Safety before using the Hot Tub guests must read and adhere to the safety notices and conditions of use which can be found in the log cabins and at the Hot Tub.
- Maintenance and cleaning of the Hot Tubs have to be done on a regular basis, guests please be aware due to this the Hot Tub may not be ready for use on your arrival.
- Children under 16 are not permitted in the HOT TUB
- As we are a registered caravan park no noise or inappropriate behaviour from either the cabins or hot tubs at any time during your stay but in respect for the adjoining neighbours especially at night. ( AFTER 10 PM )
- In the event of a disturbance or inappropriate behaviour from the Cabins or Hot Tubs will result in the neighbours from adjoining properties informing the police.
- If the site warden is called out in the case of excessive noise or disturbance at any time during your stay a call out charge for this will come off your Refundable deposit.
- Lochanview management will not be responsible for property left behind. Items will be returned on receipt of prepaid package.
- Itams left behind will be disposed of after a month from departure date.
Extraordinary Circumstances
- If for some reason or circumstance outwith our control the Lodges can not be let on the Day of Guests' arrival, we will endeavour to arrange alternative accommodation of an equivalent standard, or refund in full any booking fees paid by the Guest.
- If for some reason or circumstance outwith our control, the Hot Tubs can not be used on the day of your arrival or during your stay, we will do our best to rectify the problem as soon as possible.
